Rebecca Ward is currently playing the lead role Sarah in Recollection, a site-specific show by Any One Thing running until April 2019. Rebecca’s theatre credits include, Alice’s Adventures Underground (Olivier nominated, Waterloo Vaults), Inside Pussy Riot, (Les Enfants Terribles/Saatchi Gallery), Back To The Future (Secret Cinema), Bangin’ Wolves, (Courting Drama-Bush Attic), Come See My Show, (Tabard Theatre), Our Four Walls, (Ovalhouse Theatre).

Film and TV credits include; HELP (dir. Sue Dunderdale), Chances (London Short Film), These Four Sides (dir. Jamie Munn). Commercials include, the Duchess in Sky Q Netflix (Stink Films).

Rebecca is also the Artistic Director of her own children’s theatre company, Wind Song Theatre, which premiered its first devised production, Footprints In The Snow, at the Winchester Discovery Centre 2018.

She is fluent in Finnish and is a classically trainer soprano singer. Her performance skills include multi-roling, puppetry, improvisation and devising.

amsterdam fashion week: rebecca ward

okay, so amsterdam fashion week is kind of known for (at least by me) its installments of small collections by new (or newer) designers, like the one we're seeing for s/s 2013 by the young, and central saint martins-trained designer rebecca ward.  now my issue is that we often never see these kids again, and after we've just gotten our excitement levels raised by their fabulous mini-collections.  in particular, i'm not just yet ready to give up on homegirl here. 

anyway, for her sensual and almost architectural spring range, the site by styling amsterdam reported that "Rebecca Ward presented a collection of corset shapes to the bodies, skirts and pants showing the female silhouette and the use of a wide shimmering fabrics. She brings romance & architecture back to the catwalk."

meanwhile, according to team peter stigter, "Rebecca Ward’s collection was all about curves. She presented a series of corset-inspired looks and added circular shapes to her bodies, skirts and pants. A structured grey skirt and a nude shaded body looked stunning, as did a kaleidoscopic nude dress. It might be a while before those futuristic pants get picked up, but they sure fit well in this small and cohesive collection."

finally and similarly, seemingly rounding out the positive feelings on the short show, the dutch site fashion chick pointed out that the designer (trans.) "had a collection filled with shapes. We saw corset-like looks with circular forms that had been added. It was an intimate collection of beautiful colours like black, beige, pink and gray. The jumpsuit like creations in leather were real eye-catchers."
