See, no matter what, I'm seeing Rebellion as Madoka's mistake.
Because of course Homura became a witch and get herself caught by the incubators.
But Madoka (aware of the trap or not), asked Sayaka and Nagisa to help her rescue Homura. That's pretty stupid to me.
Plus I see everybody say "Homura doesn't care about Madoka's well-being, she just wants her to be hers".
Bullshit.
Homura wanted to die! She wanted to stay in her barrier if that meant not seeing Madoka at all again, because she wanted to protect her!
You know what has been forced?
Homura's rescue. Nobody asked Homura if she actually wanted to be saved, because no, she didn't want to.
So okay, Homura kept Madoka's divine powers to herself. But that's mainly because of Madoka's belief in the "power of friendship" (did you forget that this doesn't work?)
Madoka isn't a saint. She's a god, yes, but she's only fourteen. Just because someone is a god doesn't mean they're perfect. Besides she's human in the first place.
