rebelliousdean replied to your post “r2 is more than a droid; he’s a friend” ok listen Anakin this is only...”
Ugh he did it he made me like him, when I watched the prequels I was too young to know any better and then it was too late
lmao i liked Anakin as a child too, mainly because i had VERY bad taste in male characters. Like i’d go out of my way to sympathize with anti-hero, fucking assholes, Pinnacles of Patriarchal males, morally ambiguous or downright morally corrupt male characters! it’s so bad. Anakin is probably the most likeable, and the least douchey out of the male characters I liked as a pre-teen girl lmao! It’s funny that I wasn’t very invest in sw fandom after I watched the movies though. I was too young to find online communities then--which is probably a good thing.
Anyways i thought I left that life behind me but then im watching sw: clone wars right now and im like “um maybe stop manifesting these traits I admire and love Anakin? im not getting invested in sw universe for u lol” I’m sure by the time he is turning to the dark side in the series, I wouldn’t like him so much anymore.
