Urgent Help needed.
We had one of our final semester paper scheduled on 17th June. There was a 15 day gap for this exam. This maybe real long time for some but some of the students had back log/supplementary exams i.e. the subjects they couldn't clear in the previous semester. Since this is the final semester every paper has to be cleared otherwise it will be very difficult for the student to get the degree.
Now some "extraordinary" students didn't think of this fact, and decided we don't need a 15 day gap. They started a petition to take the exam earlier. Naturally everyone told them not to get involved and in a country like India, the system won't take notice of the petition. So, out of spite just to prove the others wrong, these "extraordinary" people promoted the hell out of the petition, got 3500 signatures. And now we have an exam on Sunday! There's a core subject paper on Saturday and there is core subject paper on Sunday. And for the backlog students, they have exams on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday continuously. For those who are not aware of the exam system in India, we have a 100mrks ppr where scoring 70% is the norm, and that too after weeks of studying.
So, we have stared a petition to postpone the exam. Please sign this to stop the stupidity. The exams starts from Tuesday. If this is not signed by Tuesday, a lot of students will fail.
