For decades, reblogs have made tumblr a near-popular site, even inspiring platforms like twitter to include a retweet feature before it was turned into x-crement. Now, tumblr has successfully removed this feature to make the site far worse.
According to tumblr prime-minister Karl Lipidbrain, "Tumblr has always worked hard to alienate its users, from its harsh treatment of the trans demographic, to its ban of nipples (which nearly 1/5th of its users have at least one of) and all the way back to the time we deleted the whole site to spite the weebs. But now, we are making the entire note system into absolute useless shit. Soon, we should be able to boast a zero user count and make tumblr small enough to throw out in the back dumpster."
User outcry has been immediate and strong, which tumblr staff will ignore because of course they will.
