also, this feels like a good time to introduce the new generation to xkit, which has allowed you to do one-click reblogs/queues/drafts with tags for years and years now. If a "return the notes count" fix ever drops, I guarantee you it'll be through xkit.
just install, hover over the reblog button, add your tags, and move on. in general, customising your internet experience cannot be recommended enough, and using a computer remains the absolute best way of doing so.
Update: It also lets you quick tag right now, which, while not the return of the "edit" button we'd all love and desperately need, is still a great improvement in letting you fast tag already-made posts.
and yeah, i'm blazing this, who gives a shit, sky's the limit when you've got no fucks to give
on todays episode of "stupid tumblr ui changes nobody cares about" we have: rounded corners for images!!!!!!! yay!!!!!!!!
Hey websites everywhere, but especially tumblr, please stop changing your UI. The world is really stressful and I don't like change. please and thank you.
@staff
Please at least give us an option to toggle UI update changes. This is an accessibility nightmare for people with bad vision. My muscle memory is all off, I can barely read how many notes there are, and I can't quick queue, or easily queue at all, anymore. This is not Instagram. Please don't try to make it like it.
I swear tumblr @staff, this will make ao3 divorce you, and i hope ao3 gets custody of us
