 reboot Vergil post-game is essentially simply still contained in a human vessel. His human body is clinically dead; freezing cold, with a heavy blue-ish tint and visible dark veins. His Nephilim essence is no longer hidden behind it and it ‘shows through’, giving him the ethereal glow and the ghostly aura surrounding him.

He can and does glamour himself as a ‘normal’ human, but only when he is in the human world, acting or meeting people that know him as a human and are not aware of what happened to him.

His Rebellion wound is a gaping hole, with a similar glow like in his eyes, showing through it.

There’s a mummified body of a monk chilling in the deeper parts of the Order’s hq. He’s been nicknamed ‘Steve’ and no one bothered to move him because he wasn’t really in the way. A lot of the members say ‘hi’ to him when they pass by and someone put on a cap and sunglasses on him. We’re 99% sure it was Dante.

Me, at 6 am: since reboot Vergil is technically dead, he will remain looking like his 22 year old self forever and watch Kat and Dante age and see the world change around him, while he stays the same. And that’s the best punishment.
