((anyway let me ramble for a sec about one of my favorite things nico and i came up with for jonloki: tobi. the half jotun, 1/4 human, 1/4 kryptonian child of loki and jon. she’s genderfluid, constantly shapeshifts (especially as a kid! when she doesnt want to do something her parents make her do, she will turn into a weasel and run away and they cannot catch her easily), she has heterochromia, and she is absolutely spoiled. jon is very much a helicopter parent when shes young, if only because hes terrified the odd mixture of her parents dna will somehow result in her dying. (loki joked while pregnant that their kid was more likely to be an animal than anything else, and jon would freak out even more). she’s spoiled and bratty, but she’s super sweet too. 

im not normally big on giving characters kids, if only because the topic is super uncomfortable for me (i have a lot of issues when it comes to kids), but this ship is so so so good and tobi is the best =w=

☆☆☆ Noctis thinks for a few moments as he stares into the pool at the Water of Styx. It’s beautiful, he thinks to himself, and considers whether he wants to take off his shoes and dip his feet in. It’s not quite as relaxing as it would be if he had a fishing rod and had fish to catch, but that’s okay. He’s sure after he gets himself a job and starts to work he’ll have enough money to start up his hobby again in no time.

He sits down near the edge and dips the tips of his fingers in. He almost immediately feels a little more relaxed as he looks below at the artwork beneath the water. 

He sits up a little as he sees someone else doing something similar. It’s a small child, from what he can tell, and he wonders if they’re enjoying the calm day as well.

He catches their eye and smiles politely, giving a little wave. “Hey, you planning on going swimming?”

Messing with Yggdrasil was not usually something that was suggested unless absolutely necessary. Usually, if the son of Frey wanted to go anywhere, he could just use the elevator. However, popping into Asguard was generally frowned upon.

The place always looked deserted from the distance that could be seen in the hotel, but that never stopped his curiosity. 

If Jack was out in the open, Mangus didn’t doubt that he would be telling him that this was a bad idea. Climbing the Tree of Life was a great way to fall and get killed, or eaten by the Squirrel and killed. Really there were just so many fun and creative ways to die on these branches. But he moved carefully, gently coaxing the branches to move the way he wanted. Asguard. He wanted to visit the realm of the gods. And the branches obeyed, stretching out ahead of him, and thick enough that he could stand (though he did it carefully). 

When he popped out on the other side, it was not the Asguard he was expecting. Empty, lifeless, abandoned. This one was full of people, milling about doing.... mundane things. He wasn’t sure what he expected. 

And he was suddenly acutely aware of how out of place he looked compared to everyone else. So he did the manly thing and ran, looking for some dark corner to hide while he tried to figure out where he was. He pulled his hood up, paying more attention to his back than his front, trying to make sure he wasn’t being followed. Of course he ran into someone, a kid in all green.

“Shit! Sorry kid!” He scrambled up, continuing his run to get away from all the people, not even stopping for a moment to help the kid up. What he didn’t realize was that something was now missing.
