#LoveSFL in the “11” (the one-one)::: Helping neighbors in the 33311 with Rebuilding Together. People in the area wanted so much to get some help with things around their home but just don’t have the time or resources to make it happen. Enter a few hundred volunteers from local churches throughout South Florida, some corporate donations and helping hands from HomeDepot, American National Bank & Bank of America, and before long a lot ‘I wish I could...’s turned into ‘thank you so much’s. The house our crew helped out belonged to a lovely lady named Phylis. She told us how just the other day she was at Home Depot figuring out how she would be able to afford simply 2-3 bags of mulch - a starting point for her. Today at least 30 were used (and a good number of gallons of paint too) to transform her home and bring joy to her heart (and to those who were able to help her). #LoveSFL #ChurchUnited #RebuilingTogether #LifeWorkLeadership (at Fort Lauderdale, Florida)
