Would it be possible for MC to adapt the killing methods to the situation or do they always resort to their specialization ?

Did MC have a say in their specialization back at the compound or was it chosen for them based on preliminary tests ?

What countries or regions of origin can we choose for them ?

Now, onto your answers;

I plan for the MC to be adaptable above all- the specialisation is going to be mostly for flavour and for certain events in the story. For a non-spoiler example, all of the Hitmen have a degree of poison resistance (alcohol and drugs included), but a Hitman who specialised in poisons would have a more advanced resistance and knowledge of them. So say someone slips something into their drink, a Close Combat Specialist Hitman would feel the affects, but still be able to walk (and find the fucker who did it), but a Poison Specialist Hitman would not only be able to walk, talk and find out who did it, they would be able to tell what exactly it was they were slipped. I am fully writing this story indulgently, and you will be playing a BAMF, no matter what. 🫡

Sadly, the MC had little-to-no say in absolutely anything back then, so you hit the nail on the head. After the first culling, the MC went into advanced training and through some preliminary aptitude tests for the instructors to guage what they would be best suited at. This would include stealth, hand-to-hand, memorisation-and-recall, strength, acting etc.

And lastly, for this one, you have caught me at an impasse. I am still trying to decide on this very option- do I provide a drop down list of countries across the world (keeping in mind that I will never be able to list them all), break it down into continents and then further into shorter lists of countries in those regions, or do I use the almighty text box in conjunction with the continent lists and let the reader input the country of origin? I am weighing it up Anon, so this answer is still up in the air!

What inspired you to create this IF?

Oof, now that has got me thinking back a few years. Well, the concept of humanising The Big Bad has always been fun to me, and I liked the idea of writing an indulgent power fantasy fic. A lot of the inspiration for this setting specifically however comes from adoring the fight sequences in John Wick and my preference towards action films that show the protagonist getting hurt but still picking themselves back up and kicking ass.

I am a fantasy fan above all else however, and I just had so much fun daydreaming about supernatural folk, who are bigger and stronger and inhuman, living out a normal civilian life and yet thinking of themselves as monsters- and then coming face to face with a human who is a Bonafide Killer. The concept of what makes someone human, and what makes them a monster pulled me in- and how can a manmade monster reclaim their own humanity?

Hello!! I was wondering, do you have any face claims for the RO’s?

Hello!!

So I don't usually do face claims, mostly cuz I'm terrible with faces and it's hard for me to settle on a single claim as I have a specific image in mind for my characters. However! For you, Anon, I have trawled through the internet and picked some out that I think are getting close but don't take these as gospel. The hope is, in the future, I can commission some art of all of the main cast... but for now, photos! This will have to be in 2 parts...

Face Claims Part 1 of 2

Brógan/Brighid

These are Eoin Macken and Bernadette Carty, and how I imagine Brógan and Brighid is they both have Eoin's fantastic nose and hair (and that serious brow...)and Bernadette's jaw and thinner lips. Skin tone is pretty accurate to how I imagine them, and I don't mind the eye-shapes of either person, to be honest, but Eoin has bigger eyebags, which I like...

Olajide/Olabisi/Ola

So these two are Alpha Dia and Eniola Abioro! Gorgeous aren't they? I imagine O to have the round face and jaw and the wide nose bridge shape of Eniola and the skin tone and cheek bones of Alpha. They both have lovely upturned eyes, which I can imagine O with very easily. And of course- make them all fat!!!!

Is our job interview at the Blue Moon part of the game? Or did that already happen? If it already happened, how long have we been working there when the game starts?

At the start of the game you have already been working there for a month or so, so the interview has already happened- I do plan to revisit the interview, however, a little down the line.

You gave a population estimate for Haven Lake, but what's the approximate size in area?

Oof you caught me there, I have NO rightly clue. I am mostly basing the rough population size on the size of the map I've made and on comparisons for other similarly populated cities in the state.

For this story, the map is more of a visual aid for some key locations in the story- the library where O works, for example, in relation to where the MC works, and the fact they are both in the downtown area.

If we don't include the land around and up to Haven Lake, shall we say about 17km²?

What are the ROs preference in bed? top/verse/bottom? sub/switch/dom? any kink?

So, I'm gonna preface this answer a little; the answers below are not going to be gospel. It's a pretty even mix of "I might change my mind as I write" and "the character might change their mind in the story".

For me, whilst there can certainly be established roles in sex with your bed partner, if you are in a long term relationship these roles are not carved in stone. For the cast, they might have lived a certain way their whole lives, and then be surprised that they want something different with the MC! It feels more natural for me to write them like that, plus it also gives the reader a chance to allow the MC to have their own dynamic with them.

Now, with that out of the way, answers below on the ROs current leanings, with 1 (one) kink to share 😏;

B: They feel a lot more comfortable being more dom than sub, and Brogán has always been a top whilst Brighid has (usually) bottomed, but likes to be on top at least. This in part due to the way they were raised, in regards to what they believe is their role. And are you surprised that they have a burgeoning breeding kink??

C: Whilst they have been more of a verse over their life, they tend to lean more towards submissive behaviour in bed. C likes being told what to do, what can I say, it feeds nicely into that praise kink that totally popped up outta nowhere, they swear.

O: Of the scant few sexual relationships they've had, they have tended to be the more submissive partner and would lean more towards being a bottom (pillow princess) if stereotypes would allow. Olajide and Ola have usually had to be the top, in these circumstances. They have had a taste of edging, however, that they might like to revisit...

H: Has had literally 1 (one) sexual long term relationship, and a handful of hookups, so honestly they are still not too sure if they have any strong leanings towards topping or bottoming. They have mostly bottomed so far, but they have always gone with the flow and are verse. No kinks— so far...

M: Has quite literally almost tried everything, kinks included. If there's a position that exists, most likely they've done it. Has always been quite dominant, however, and they don't see that changing.

31: They don't care, as long as they're having fun. I'd say they have an instinct to be more dominant, but they don't hold onto that strongly. But they certainly like having sex outdoors— the riskier, the better.

Among the ROs, who is the big spoon and who is the little spoon?

B: Is a little spoon truther. They're usually the taller and bigger one, it's more physically comfortable to have someone spoon them than vice versa.

C: Big spoon gang. They like to curl and cling to their bed partner.

O: They like both! They like to swap based on mood, or their partner's mood.

H: They don't mind spooning but they actually like face-to-face cuddling the most!

M: Neither. They are the plate. Prefers to have their bed partner rest on the chest so they can wrap around them that way.
