3, 4, 12 and 25 for the asks? 💚
Welcome, dear reader to my humble abode. Usher in your curiosity and peer into the realm of sleep. What dreams call to them I wonder? Oh, you have your own questions. Then, come now. Step into the portal and I’ll give you a glimpse into their reality; shh, they’re sleeping...
3. How many pillows do they sleep with?
Pillows are a luxury, in their own right, and as such are reserved in various levels of comfort. Each of one being placed in a particular arrangement to offer the most relaxing shift from wakefulness to peaceful slumber. That being stated, however, it is the ideal but not often the case…
Preferring the ever odd number of three, Corbyn prefers to have a pillow acting as a support for the two others. This consists of a body pillow “headrest” and two medium-sized ones that begin aligned but often become contorted as he sleeps.
For Seth, he takes Corbyn’s weak number and adds an elegant 2. With five pillows, one might wonder if his need for comfort has overridden his common sense. The pillows range in size from king to twin, mostly centered upon middle towards the wall as he has a habit of rolling into its cool surface. So there’s a pillow at his back, two at his head, one facing him, and one that never seems to be in the same place twice.
4. Is your OC a blanket hog?
Intentionally? That would be Seth. He tends to get cold a bit easier than most, so it’s his given right to take the necessary precautions. You wouldn’t want him to be cold now, would you? He won’t ask either. He’ll just..eventually pull all the blankets to himself. Content and warm, that’s all that matters.Unintentionally? That would be Corbyn. If you end up sharing blankets with him, for one reason or another, they will eventually make it to his side. He isn’t doing it on purpose. He simply moves a lot in his sleep which also means he becomes a blanket burrito. Well, that or he ends up using them as another pillow...
12. On a scale of 1 - DO NOT, how inadvisable is it to wake your OC up?
Hmm, this is a good question. While both of them can be a handful when woken by others, they vary completely as to the “why” aspect of it. For Seth, he will probably deck you in the face if you’re close enough. Other than that, he’ll just cast you seething glares until he is fully awake. This places him at a 7 in my mind regarding this scale.
Corbyn on the other hand, he is liable to wake up and appear to all the world as if he is actually awake, before returning to sleep minutes later. He can have full-on conversations as well. The dangerous aspect appears if he is startled awake. Then he just reacts. Remember, you have no one to blame but yourself. 9 in the danger zone.
25. What does your OC do if they can’t fall asleep?
Restless fatigue, hm? Well, unfortunately for everyone who happens to be in his roommate, Seth becomes an incessant rambler. As he is trying to keep himself awake, he’ll try to engage people in conversation. I can see this turning quickly into a debate. He tends to move more and pace as well.
Corbyn, on the other hand, tends to fall quiet. Starting sentences and then allowing his voice to fade into silence. He tends to close his eyes and try to force sleep. When it doesn’t happen, he’ll turn his frustrations elsewhere. A conversation at this time is not recommended because all sorts of unwanted truths may reveal themselves..
