Summary:
Finn left the Resistance thirteen years ago, only to become part of another movement resisting all forms of tyranny. Poe goes looking for the leaders of that movement on purpose, and finds Finn by accident. The two of them have to decide whether and how to work together for the freedom of the galaxy.

This is so amazing!!! Finn finds he doesn’t want to fight anymore and leaves the Resistance. 13 years later Poe literally crash lands and finds him as basically the brains of an anti-tyranny, anti-fascist movement, helping to rebuild worlds.
It flicks between the present day of them getting to know each other again in the short time Poe is there and the past- what Finn has been doing all these years (including past relationships.)
I know I read so many Finncentric works but I just love the representation of leader/capable Finn.
There is also a sequel that is just as fantastic.
