I would like to give you a little update on the current status of our pack. Today, Nico was successfully spay surgery and discharged from animal hospital after an overnight stay. She's still in low spirits, but she'll be back to her active self soon!✨🐶✨

そんななか、生後７か月半になったニコは昨日無事に避妊手術を終え本日退院してきました。さすがに少しだけしょんぼりぎみですが、すぐ元気になってくれるでしょう✨🐶✨てか、１週間後の抜糸までどうか暴れずにすごして欲しいものです（切実w）🦖😂

Snails concern

Snail season has arrived. Every few yards, there are baby snails on the footpaths. Some of them are half trampled to death. The fact that only half of it was stepped on doesn't mean someone stepped on it intentionally. On the way out, I just passed by, but on the way back I begun worried.

In the end, I picked them up one by one as I walked and threw them over the fence by the road, but for some reason they seemed annoyed as they tumbled down onto the grass.

I googled a bit, thinking there must be a reason why they would go out of their way to come out, when they would be more comfortable in the soil or grass.

カタツムリの季節がやってきた。歩道には数メートルおきにカタツムリの赤ちゃんがいる。中には半分踏みつぶされて死んでいるものもある。半分しか踏まれていないということは、誰かが故意に踏んだということではない。行きはそのまま通り過ぎたが、帰りはだんだん心配になってきた。

結局、歩きながら一匹ずつ拾い上げ、道端のフェンスの上に放り投げたが、草むらに転がり落ちる彼らはなぜか迷惑そうに見えた。

土の中や草むらの方が快適なのに、わざわざ出てくるのは何か理由があるに違いないと思い、少しググってみた。

A recent report has indicated that people in the UK are spending less on their credit cards, which is good news in terms of reducing the credit card debt mountain. One official said: “UK consumers are among the most indebted in the world, with the average UK household still saddled with nearly £8,000 of unsecured debt. Although the UK Government’s austerity drive appears to be hitting home, with households paying off an average of £355 worth of their debt in 2011, three years of austerity by UK consumers has only made a small dent in the total levels of borrowing.”

He added: “45 years since it was first introduced, the credit card is suffering a midlife crisis. Consumers discarded nearly one million cards in 2011, taking the number of credit cards in circulation down to levels not seen for almost a decade.”

Government aims to increase charity donations via credit cards

It has been claimed in a recent report that the UK government is hoping to increase donations that are made to charities across the UK by providing credit card holders with the means to make a donation each time they make a transaction on their credit cards.

Officials believe that this is a way in which the government is hoping to increase the number of donations that are made to charities by consumers in the UK, and whilst plans are still not confirmed and are said to still be in discussion stage the move could lead to a sharp increase in the number of donations made, as many people may make a donation on the spot whilst paying for some other purchase.

Some believe that credit cards may become more difficult to get as a result of the move though, as it is through that lenders may not be all that happy about consumers borrowing money off them and then sending it directly to charities. It is claimed in the report that if the plans do go ahead cardholders may be able to make a donation from both CHIP and PIN machines in shops and from ATM machines when taking money out.

The plans, if they do go ahead, could lead to mixed reactions. Charities are likely to be pleased with the plans, as it does mean that the amount of money that is donated to the various charities could increase, with many consumers probably not giving a second thought to donating a pound or two when they are making a purchase through the use of their card.

However, finance officials are thought to be concerned about the fact that borrowers will be able to use borrow money to send to charities, so the decision could cause some controversy.
