FULL NAME. Kemuel NICKNAME. Kem, Pigeon, K, Eagle GENDER. Non-binary (uses male pronouns) HEIGHT. 6′10″ for his vessel; ‘true’ form is easily bigger than the Burj Khalifa/Burj Dubai. AGE. unknown; over 3 billion years ZODIAC. Sagittarius, based on his personality and the insight of some humans.  SPOKEN LANGUAGES. English, Enochian, dead languages and modern alike. Kemuel is fluent in all languages, most notably English, Enochian, and Latin.

HAIR COLOR. dark brown EYE COLOR. brown SKIN TONE. olive/tan BODY TYPE. tall and toned, athletic VOICE. weighted with a smooth tone, words flowing after one another almost seamlessly. Harsher consonants are pronounced with a slight lilt in tone, which can also be heard when Kemuel’s uncertain in his words or posing a question. There’s still a hint of youthfulness to his voice--a warm, sing-song tune if he’s excited or in higher spirits.  DOMINANT HAND. left handed POSTURE. great; he takes the consideration to keep an ye on his posture. With such a tall frame, it’s easy to notice the roll of his shoulders or the straightening of his back upon the slightest sense of slouching.If in the company of close ones or fatigued, he’ll sacrifice his posture for relaxed poses such as slouching or leaning his shoulder against a person or object facing away from his lower half, if that makes sense? SCARS. multitude that fixate on his back and sides, as well as some that are on his chest/stomach. A handful can be felt along his forearms, dealt from sparring and fights alike.  TATTOOS. none BIRTHMARKS. None MOST NOTICEABLE FEATURE(S). his height. Tall boy. Outside of the obvious height, his wings are a noticeable feature when viewable. The eyes that linger the flesh beneath his copper and goldenrod plumage are of a striking blue, telling of his true eye color instead of the earthen brown he is so often seen with. They don’t coordinate their blinking, yet there are moments when two make blink at the same time.

OCCUPATION.  In his main and supernatural verse, he’s an angel with a handful of entry level jobs on earth, namely service industry with some pertaining to mail/delivery. Kemuel does have a good stint with security jobs, though he is more inclined for parcels due to the traveling it offers. As for marvel/superhero, he’s a SHIELD agent that does a mixture of field and paperwork, favoring the former for the chance to spread his wings and get things done on the practical level.  CURRENT RESIDENCE. Seattle, WA (main and spn verses). The outskirts of New York for his marvel/superhero verse.  CLOSE FRIENDS. Michael, Castiel. Non-angel friends include Skylar the weretiger and Meno the baker. Will be expanded upon with more interactions! RELATIONSHIP STATUS. single FINANCIAL STATUS.  moderate-low on the spectrum. has enough for the utilities/basics and that’s really it.  DRIVER’S LICENSE. no CRIMINAL RECORD. na-da VICES. anger

TURN ON’S. touch, neck kisses, wings, wax play is a maybe. He wants to have contact and be allowed to give in to his partner, whether the contact is gentle and soft or more on the firm side of things makes little difference. Opening up to his partner is one thing that will have him yearning for more.  TURN OFF’S. general no-no’s that the vast majority avoid, binding, whips, and temperature play. They simply aren’t his cup of tea--or is it cups of tea?  LOVE LANGUAGE. physical contact in either light brushes of hand on arm, kisses to the cheek/head, or hugs, amongst many other forms.  RELATIONSHIP TENDENCIES. Kemuel would be inclined to send pictures or texts whenever he’s thinking of his significant other. He’s avid about physical touch, so greeting his partner with a kiss and hug is the bare minimum of what he does. If taken on a date and sat down in a booth, you’d know full well that the angel will sit next to his partner. He enjoys and craves that physical intimacy, however hard it is to obtain and work up to makes no difference. Outside of the contact brushes of fingers against arms or the intwining embrace between he and the lover, sitting in the same room is just as enough for him. The visible presence is appreciated to him, and no grandeur gift or proclamation of love will undermine how appreciated his loved’s presence is.

CHARACTER’S THEME SONG. Glory-Friday Pilots Club HOBBIES TO PASS TIME. reading, evening/late night flights, people watching, and walking in the woods. He has recently started to explore photography, yet this avenue of art is still new and juvenile at best. Kemuel will get better in time and with proper equipment, given he’s using those disposable cameras right now.  LEFT OR RIGHT BRAINED. he’s more left brained than right, if by a hair.  PHOBIAS. drowning/deep waters, and falling from grace/losing his identity as an angel are the two prominent ones with Kemuel. While death is a fear, it isn’t one that has rendered him immobile/unable to act.  SELF CONFIDENCE LEVEL. he’s fairly self confident as all things go. Assured in his capabilities and sound of mind, there’s not much to bring attention to that’ll crumble his confidence. Things such as failure and tasks left incomplete can --and have-- knock him down a peg or two. Same goes for remarks with his status as an angel; questioning his aptitude and qualities that make him an angel have gotten under his skin in the past. Just because he’s assured himself he is an angel through-and-through, doesn’t mean any future jabs at his identity will be met with an iron wall.  VULNERABILITIES.  relationships, family, touch/physical contact, do-good attitude. His patience has been proven to be a vulnerability in and of itself; waiting too long to see a perfect opening for an attack has and will result in preventable casualties/injuries.

Angels have to make rent; money does not grow wings.

While a celestial entity first and foremost, even angels have to find some kind of income--if on earth for long enough. Kemuel’s immortality throws a kink in the realm of steady jobs. Those of his kind are much better in the art of hopping around. In his case, he’s spent many hours acting as an overnight courier or a simple waiter/kitchen help for perpetually open diners.  Out of all the jobs he’s taken on, the ones he enjoys the most are the ones catering more to his skill set. 

Suffice to say, such jobs orient around strength, namely security or the handful of construction/manual labor gigs that he has performed throughout the years. Acting as a courier had been one of his favorites due to learning more about the particular town of his parcel’s arrival and the many sights that come with it. 

Aforementioned material apply for main and supernatural verses. Supernatural verse can have flexibility to it, given the only angels that really had a ‘job’ involved Castiel as a gas station clerk and Gabriel’s stint at the university, as far as my knowledge goes? This just serves as some material to help with starters/plotting out threads. 

On the other hand, for his marvel verse, Kemuel’s joined the ranks of the organization that had laid eyes on him since the beginning. He allied himself with SHIELD and slowly climbed the ladder with his particular origin oft the topic of conversation. While not exactly the ‘go-to’ guy with team missions, he does get the job done and then some. He identifies as an independent worker, but is able to ration tasks with teammates if he is ever given any. 

At the moment, Kemuel’s job has brought him to the east coast. He’s rented out an apartment via paychecks, frequenting the headquarters for his steady supply of elixirs and a mission or two to keep him afloat. Kemuel does take on more than one mission at a time, namely in the act of investigation. Following trails from the local criminals and ne’er-do-wells, miscreants and troubled alike has been a growing ‘past time’ of his. Kemuel couldn’t quite take on a vigilante role, but he sure could piece together evidence to make it easier for those patrolling the streets.

Wings, wings, and more wings

What is the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the word 'angel'? Wings. Like his siblings, Kemuel posses a boastful set of wings. He has three pairs, though usually sticks to the second pair for flying, displaying, and other forms of communication or care. His wings closely resemble that of a golden eagle's in terms of structure, coloration, and patterning. Unlike the raptor's feathers, his own lean in towards metallic plumage. Deep chocolates are exchanged for metallic copper and golds. Primary and Secondary feathers sport golden tips that, when light interacts, refracts and scatters it about much like a prism.

His wings are massive in order to accommodate both his vessel's size as well achieve flight; as a result, his wingspan's easily around 18ft. All those feathers aren't something to sneeze at, either: they constantly radiate and give off heat, with temperature varying dependent upon mood and health. In good spirits? The temperature is a warm and comfortable seventy degrees Fahrenheit. About to blow a gasket and/or smite a trespasser on sight? Those feathers are glowing molten.

When they aren't hot enough to start fires through close proximity or slice through intruders in a blink of an eye, they are hidden with a veil of grace. Kemuel keeps his wings in the etherial plane to better fit in with humans. His height's already a distinguishing trait of his; why should he add wings to the mix, let alone risk his livelihood over such a simple thing? As much as he loves his wings, keeping them out all the time is not a viable solution. Even in the etherial plane, however, his wings react and emote with his own feelings. Such observations are only visible to celestial entities, however, leaving humans and human-adjacent in the metaphorical dark.

His wings are a source of comfort when not used for flight or fight. He spends many hours straightening out barbules and plucking loose feathers from his wings, focusing on the near-mindless task with a meditative quality. In the presence of other angels, he'll gladly care for their wings and spend time simply grooming them. Kemuel's sign of trust involves letting those close to him care for his wings just as much as he does to theirs (if they have some). What better way to show your love than trust someone with such an integral part of you?

Kemuel may be an angel, but he still uses his wings to convey emotions. Feathers bristle and wings mantle in times of aggression or hostility, while nervous or twitchy shuffling brings forth states of uncertainty and anxiety. Kemuel's hands don't demonstrate his range of emotions, nor do his words, when his wings tell a far deeper story.

Walking amongst men may be part-fascination, part-curiosity on his behalf but interacting with them is certainly a blend of both. Throughout his time and frequent visits to Earth, he's met many significant figures. While interactions vary from occupying the same space to direct dialogue, there is only one that he has met on more than a "happenstance". The Greek Sculptor Lysippos enraptured his attention through studious transformations of marble into men. While they were not on wholly close terms for Kemuel's sake as much as his, there was a mutual appreciation for company.

That is, until Kemuel'd need to leave him alone to better focus on his latest artistic endeavors. Some people don't appreciate hours of simple questions and wonderings.

Kemuel enjoys watching humanity grow and develop, enrich its various cultures, as well as advance their own creative efforts. However, even he has a favorite time period that he'd go back to in a heartbeat. Don't tell Father. Classical antiquity would be his favorite because of the interconnecting dynamics of the Mediterranean groups. While he still holds fondness over the Neolithic era, there is something to be had about the philosophical approach that the antiquity offered.

7. body hair; do they crop anything short? let it grow naturally? wax?

Kemuel has body hair, yes! He has hair on his arms, legs, groin, as well as his chest. His treasure trail starts at his navel and goes all the way down to his groin. As he doesn't focus too much on shaving or waxing, he lets the hair naturally grow. The only exception could be trimming his pubic hair.

15. what is their favorite genre of music?

Kemuel enjoys instrumental, namely for the percussion and brass elements. He has grown fond of folk as well due to his time in the mountains. Classical is easy on the mind and heart; he finds it inspiring to play in the background as he reads on the porch, watches the fireplace, or otherwise observe the world.

Another world, an apocalyptic scene, and his place in it all.

Dominion, the two-season television show takes place in an apocalyptic world where God left the building twenty-five years prior. Where there are five (four) archangels: Gabriel and Michael, Uriel and Raphael, as well as Lucifer himself. Kemuel’s an archangel as well, but his name and ‘fame’ establish him as a relic and nothing more. Much like the others, his wings are not their notable copper and golds like they standardly are. Rather, the vibrant hues are exchanged for deep, rich blacks that shine indigo in direct sunlight.

Bulletproof, communication source, and capable of flight, wings are both a weapon and means of transport. Considering his height, they’re quite the hefty set. 16 foot wingspan; while that is (in realistic terms) incapable of any flight whatsoever, the show seems to prove otherwise. Kemuel’s wings are more often than not hidden during his residency in the world, yet he does bring them out for either defense, communication, or a sign of trust amongst peers. 

He does not live in Vega. Nor Helena, nor New Delphi. Kemuel still holds the mountains and forests of Washington state as his ‘home’, yet...it isn’t as untouched as it seems. Seclusion favors the hardy; small outposts line the city limits with a mixture of walls and a canopy system connecting lookout stations via tall, hulking, western red cedars. Kemuel’s town is situated in the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest, a dense array of douglas firs, western red cedars, hemlock, and more.

In regards to the war, the humans or angels debate, he’s human-aligned. Kemuel’s since delved to his own part of the world to keep it free of eight-balls and ensure their livelihoods, yet family is one thing known to draw him in from the horizon. The archangel’s weapon, much like standard verse, is a longsword made of Empyrean steel. He keeps it on his back and its sheath between his shoulder blades. Considering his height alone, it’d be easy to equip on his hip rather than back. When flying, he keeps it to his side. Fighting is a hit or miss; it’s kept at the side or behind the back for maneuverability.

As an archangel, he inherits all the show’s qualities about them: flight, communication, superhuman abilities/senses, demotion of spheres, healing/longevity/immortality (to an extent; can be killed via empyrean steel and critical wounds), and so on.
