Let's roll up our sleeves fandoms!

So I need everyone's help on a big matter: my wedding.

I'm going to have two receptions for reasons I don't care to list. But I'm going to need help. I think I'm going to forgo a bachelor and bachelorette party in favor of a second reception. Our second reception will be all things geek that we love. We will try to find somewhere in either Dallas or San Francisco to have that party. Anyone is invited, as long as you are polite and nice to others.

However, I will need help finding a way to make this accessible to everyone. We will need a way to stream the festivities, possibly with multiple webcams, somewhere to host all this from, as well as a way for guests who check in online to interact.

In lieu of wedding gifts, I think I will ask for those who want to celebrate to contribute to their fandom of choice during the reception. I think it would be lovely to come on Tumblr, AO3, DeviantArt, and other places to see a new spurt of growth celebrating marriage in the fandom.

If anyone wants to contribute ideas or let me know if you would be willing to attend, please let me know! We'll try to have it in Dallas, but time may force us to have it in San Fran. Thank you to all of you for your kindness, support, and creativity.
