RAJU | RECICLATON Entre las actividades realizadas por #LaHoraDelPlaneta, el pasado 22, 23 y 26 de marzo la Red Ambiental de Jóvenes Universitarios – RAJU se unió a Rua Perú UCSM - Arequipa, en el RECICLATÓN S.O.S. 2022 , realizado con el objetivo de apoyar económicamente a las familias de los pescadores afectados por el derrame de petróleo en Ventanilla.

In Guatemala this weekend?

  If so, make some time on sunday to check out the Reciclaton. It is Guatemala's largest fair that is solely focused on promoting sustainable living.

Aspiring architect and rocknrollstee brand ambassador, Lucia Pivaral will be hosting a table with some Holstee goodies. While there, be sure to ask her about out her own sweet project, SketchIn.

It is a family friendly event, with loads of activities planned including live music, re-use + reduce workshops and an assortment of locally grown foods.

Since its still not super convenient to recycle in guatemala yet, there will be stations that are collecting plastic, cans, glass, paper, cardboard + electronics that will help support a socially focused project.

Two other organizations that will also be there are Sife UVG + Yoasumo. Both have been big players in Guatemala City in helping Guate's youth drive forward initiatives ranging from non-violence to agriculture.
