Been listening to the 4th Reckless book (Auf Silberner Fährte) and enjoying it more than I’ve enjoyed a book in a long time 😳. It’s funny, I like to listen to German books at work so even if they’re overheard it doesn’t matter, but this one keeps shouting ‘Bastard!’ and it’s making me sweat—😂✨Have a quick sketch of genuine bastard Nerron and his adopted puppy (Will).

No spoilers please. 🙉 Haven’t finished reading it yet.

The night breathed through the apartment like a dark animal.

The ticking of a clock.

The groan of a floorboard as he slipped out of his room.
