(and duel links unfortunately created the idea in my mind of revolver being v fine with that right up until it gets in the way of actually interacting with soulburner. stop fucking distrusting us damn it we're trying to help. still not a good person, you're right about that. but also this is making it difficult to actually get through to you.)

Recoilposting. I will admit part of its appeal to me is a bit comparative, jn that. I watched vrains after the other five series. I do not think any other kaiba would throw to try to heal the mental state for their respective joey . I don’t see kaiba himself doing that for joey withoit a lot of character development. Gx diesnt count because the kaiba and Joey are bros (but no I don’t think Zane would do that for syrus given the electroshock duel). I can’t imagine Jack doing that for crow. Kaito and shark is lmao, they end zexal with kaito still not having apologized for ripping out shark’s soul over a misunderstanding and then not giving it back. Reiji and shun if you count them coild come closer but reiji sucks at emotional intelligence and half hostageshipping’s interactions are him trying to keep shun from committing murder on live tv so Theres that. But like. By comparison. That revolver does put soulburner’s mental health above a victory does stand out a lot

Like the closest comparison is. Shark and Yuma do that for each other all the time…and sharkbait is the biggest zexal ship so like. Not the straightest comparison
