A trainee osteo near us put up an ad asking for people to work on - I went without expectation - interesting ailments for a student perhaps? and was blown away. Describing my migraine (these are migraines that have reoccured regularly over 40 years where you vomit with pain) he worked on my shoulder and neck bones. The next migraine I had started at the top of my neck rather than the middle of my shoulder and I didn’t vomit, so he worked to put air between my skull and the membrane (or perhaps between the membrane and my brain?) , and since I have had no migraines. He no doubt has a special acuity - he teaches aikido too.
