I saw that you were sick, and I really like your blog, so I thought I would share a really easy recipe for when you're sick.
Chicken and rice.
You're going to need white rice, Campbell's cream of chicken soup, a bag of great value boneless skinless chicken breast (thawed), some salt, garlic salt, and pepper.
Turn your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Get an oven pan and put some aluminum on the bottom of it. Take the soup and go ahead and put it in there, take a spoon and spread it around the pan.
Go ahead and do your rice- personally we use enriched white rice for this because it soaks up the soup. Also, my personal ratio is 2 cups of rice per can of soup.
(we boil water for rice at a ratio of 1:1- boil the water, toss the rice in when it's boiling, stir the rice in and put a lid on it, then cut the heat. let the rice soak up the water)
While the rice is getting done, put the chicken in the pan, add the salt, pepper and garlic salt.
When the rice is done, pour that on top and spread it around so that it covers the chicken and the pan and the soup. Add salt, pepper and garlic salt on top of the rice as well.
Put some foil on top so that the rice won't be crunchy.
Toss the pan in the oven and wait. When you start to smell chicken, you're about done.
This recipe is packed full of carbs, fats, salts and proteins. It looks like a lot of steps written out, but I promise that it isn't. I could, and have. made this while stoned out of my gourd, vomiting so hard i was seeing double, and while having an anxiety attack- not all at the same time.
I hope you feel better soon!
Aww, thank you!♥ So sweet of you to compile this for me! I really gotta try eating it with rice sometimes, I usually make noodles but I keep seeing soup with rice recipes!
Sharing in case someone finds themselves in the same situation and could need a soup recipe! (:
