I do believe that because your mind and spirit is connected that you have to resolve whatever issues you may have from within, first, to have healthy thoughts...
The point, though, is to recondition your mind and to not shut down healthy thoughts the minute things start to go wrong.
One day we will all be old and wrinkly, and the beauty that we once treasured for ourselves and others, will be gone. That's why it's important to love ourselves, and others, for who we are; how we treat each other for merely being imperfect human beings needs to be resolved.

b. Is it their strength in character, their perseverance, their kindness?
c. Or, do you just compliment others on their looks?
I think it’s especially important to complement our daughters more for their efforts and virtues than for their physical beauty. The society we live in today puts too much emphasis on a woman's looks. And it's sad, but people get treated in certain ways based on their looks. Let's teach our girls that their inner beauty will always outshine their physical beauty. Their inner beauty is an integral part of who they are while the beauty of the flesh is only temporary even for the most beautiful of people.
