Mississippi pot roast with potatoes and carrots ... because we’re adults and we eat vegetables.
Delusional
Should send a thank you card, but FUCK YOU VERY MUCH.
There is a false idea about Canada that most do not know about. Most people outside of Canada (maybe all) do not know about it and unfortunately within Canada the results are quite similar.
If you look at any quality of living indexes you will usually see Canada in the top five. This is just simply not true. Why do you ask? It has a lot to do with our First Nations communities. Why can Canada score a top 5 of all countries in the index and First Nations communities not hit the top 40?
There are two issues with this: the first being that they separate both Canada and First Nations communities which is just an outdated and oppressive form of legislation from the Indian act and the second being that Canada CANNOT place in the top 5 if parts of its country are considered not even the top 40. It is completely ridiculous.
I have been teaching on a reserve in northern Alberta for the last 10 months. Most of these kids’ parents are suffering from trauma. Caused by being pulled from their families (residential schooling and the 60s scoop) and as a result they have been suffering and have been unable to get their shit together. So many Canadians judge these people and claim they are drunkards and are unworthy of participating in the Canadian economy. BULLSHIT.
The equivalency would be an entire town having their children abducted and brainwashed and forced to speak another language and to be beaten and sexual abused if they went against what was forced upon them.
Put that into your mind and you realize that the current status of most of our First Nations people is a coping mechanism for EXTREME TRAUMA and that most of the people IN THE ENTIRE WORLD do not know about it. It is pathetic that our government does not come clean and that is what one of Trudeau’s campaign promises was and two years into his tenure I say this guy is not better than the crusty dinosaur Stephen Harper.
