Started my semi-yearly mother 3 playthrough

This thing left such an impression on me when I started MOTHER 3

There was nothing like this in the other games Giygas had always just driven animals to attack you through his psychic influence, and it just dissipated and they became friendly again once you beat them

The whole thing just immediately tells you the absolute evil you're up against, everything is so much more horrible than it was in the first two games

Update on the claus solo.

I had to get the cutscene for the reconstructed caribou out the way because at first I had claus in the front slot of the party.

I got trapped up here with the moles, though. Thanks Bateau.

Anyway I took a while to grind on the moles. I had to get Claus to the point where he can beat them without loosing too much hp so he can get the bread they drop. The reconstructed caribou at the level I beat it at did about 20ish hp if I where to gaurd against its berserk attack. So I can barely keep my hp up. I also had one beef jerky which heals 60hp. I used this around the end of the battle. I could combo it pretty well but it was still a long fight.

I used up like eight breds here and would of lost if it wasn't for the scrolling hp gimmick.

Oh and if you are confused by flint's name it's a Joey's special experience reference.

And speaking of flint.

Surprise dad boss fight!

Anyway I guess the next boss is mecha drago. Guys I don't know I have a feeling claus isn't going to win this one.
