Two years ago today I spun at the Recordbar Radio studio on 16th Street in Phoenix for the first time. I wasn’t sure what to expect. The show runner that day was @problim and he made me feel at home. I was nervous but he helped put me at ease. Over the last two years, Recordbar Radio has flexed its muscles and grown, adding followers, supporters, DJs and opportunities for DJs in Phoenix and beyond. I want to thank the entire Recordbar Radio family for doing what they do. I’ve been fortunate to be a guest and resident on Recordbar Radio and I have also enjoyed being a part of Recordbar Radios Sundays at the Womack along with spinning at the RBR booth at Phoestivus in downtown Phoenix. Along the way I have met many in the RBR family and have enjoyed being a part of the RBR community, which serves the Phoenix community. Happy 2nd Birthday to RBR and the entire RBR family. Thank you for providing a resource for DJs, musicians and lovers of music of all kinds to come together. The pictures in the series are from May 9, 2020 during my guest slot at RBR for 45 minutes at 45. If you watch the replay, you can tell I’m having a blast. Aaron did a great job running the show and putting me at ease—thank you Aaron. Two years later, I’m still spinning little records with big holes on RBR. My monthly resident show, ‘Wheels Up!’ on RBR is scheduled for Wednesday May 18 at 4pm MST. Tune in!
