We found a little home away from home at @lushatitlan 🌿. We had dinner with one of the managers (twice), and bonded over our love of the arts. We met an amazing mom and daughter duo from the states who were in search of new adventures and life passions that relocated them to Guatemala. . It feels like time slows down here. It's like one giant, wild garden + anywhere you wander to is so beautiful it actually forces you to stop and smell the flowers. We checked out the garden and ended up spending a half hour there running around like idiots trying to photograph all the beautiful butterflies and laughing about the silly simplicities of life 🦋. . Being here has reminded me the importance of rest + the goodness of connecting to our beautiful earth. From the mixed colors of the sky, to the background noises that are normally drowned out, I've collected so many beautiful moments here.
