VA COMMERCIAL
I just shot a Veteran's Affairs commercial with director Noah Mucci. It was a really great experience. We shot on my Red Epic with some of my old vintage lenses mixed with some of my newer zeiss lenses. We shot on the Mole Richardson sound stage in Hollywood. I had access all the lights that Mole Richardson make. My new love are the Mole beam projector lights and also their new LED softlight tungsten and daylight models. They are my new go to for creating sunlight on a sound stage. We projected war footage on the walls of a bedroom set and rigged projectors to fluid heads on sliders in scissor lifts. It's going to be amazing!!!
DAY 01 out at the Perry Sand Dunes in NSW. Our stills photographer, Rory Mason, was pretending to be a corpse so all we've got are some low-res phone photos to sneak you a peek behind the scenes. It was a great start to the week long shoot! Ran to time, got some stunning exteriors and only minimal sand in our eyes. The drive is pretty intense and dear Sarah is getting a bit car sick but we've got a nice rest before tomorrow and the long drive back home so that's lucky. Note to future self to budget for energy drinks for any future drivers.

ROXANNA PROMO SHOOT
Just shot a mini promo for Roxanna for two days with director Samuel Gonzales. We shot several interviews and set up a mini music video in a recording studio. Here's a shot of Roxanna in her interview. I used my 90mm Angeneiux prime from the 60's.
