Red Kyte Review
As far as local bands go Brighton is never short of them! However distinguishing which ones are worth a listen isn't always easy!
But, this particular band have made it pretty clear how good they are by whacking out a saucy debut e.p that's nothing short of brilliant! (well at least i think so and that's all that counts)
Red Kyte formed in 2009 to bring us blinding rock anthems, chorus' you can't help but sing along to and pretty simply an e.p that shouldn't be missed.
Favourite's of mine on the e.p include, softer track 'Look to the sky' with what is probably the catchiest hook EVER and lyrics that any girl would dream of hearing about herself someday (swoon)! Also the more up beat sounding rock anthem of 'Safe Side' again the same formula of a catchy chorus and awesome guitar riffs!
That's the thing about this band, they are so good at what they do, all the songs are so easy to listen to and you'll find yourself singing them for days after just one listen!
Having already toured with the likes of Lower Than Atlantis, Set Your Goals and Flood of Red, you know this band are gonna make a storm in the industry and i hope it happens this year!! (Tom DeLonge from Blink 182 is already a fan and if that doesn't convince you then i don't know what will!)
Have a listen to the e.p 'Look to the Sky' because i guarantee you'll be as hooked as me!
