Random topic: Red leather jackets.
I always wanted to find the perfect leather jacket. But to be honest, they don’t look very good on me. Years ago, on study abroad in Europe, I was obsessed with finding a great leather jacket. However, either I was too picky, or the stores I went to just didn’t have what I was looking for. I was tired of wandering into stores and seeing something too embellished with zippers and buttons and would look noisy to walk in. What’s wrong with finding simple and good? Why do things need bells and whistles to be “better”? My problem as well, was that I wanted a reasonable price for a perfect leather jacket. And the really good stuff was seemingly out of reach, whether geographically or financially.
Until Tuscany! I reluctantly ended up trying on this light brown leather jacket; it looked much better than the great red one I tried on minutes previously and had shrugged off with disappointment.
Some people just suit certain clothes. And this light brown jacket has stuck with me for over two years now!
But red leather jackets are still badass.
