Cold takes: S28E3 Sora Not Sorry
The episode starts off with Red, which I honestly loved, in 2025 they really decided to make her a character and it's amazing. However of course it wasn't really her, and we are subjected to Butters' (and Kenny's!) sick minds making a Sora AI video of her getting pissed on by Santa Claus.
Butters is proud, however Stan and especially Kyle warn him about this being unethical.
We get Nichole and Bebe as Red's close friends here. Bebe actually says that Red used Butters, while Nichole sees Red as the victim and suggests for her to talk to the principal. However, Red is planning revenge in another way.
Yes, she fights fire with fire, sabotaging the principal's lesson by switching the tape and therefor showing a video that she generated about Butters having sex with studio Ghibli character Totoro.
Later, Red makes a video about Kenny and Popeye as well. At this point, the police questions the boys, because of course Harris thinks that the videos are real footage. Butters just denies everything, since he doesn't want to admit that he made fake videos of Red, so he thinks it's best if they keep thinking that the videos of him aren't fake either. Ghibli staff shows up, mad about someone else using their property and Kenny denies specifically the Ghibli video. However Harris doesn't understand the japanese accent nor Kenny, so he just keeps them captive for the time being.

I'll admit it. I watched "Eric Cartman in Squid Game" Sora video on youtube when Trey said they didn't finish the episode in time and we had to wait another week. I was mad, and the sora video, while wasn't good, with a little help from my imagination, made me less frustrated over not watching an official episode. Either they used the actual software for these scenes, or the animators did crazy work here, considering these videos are exactly like the ones on youtube.
Kyle decides to take Butters to the girls and apologize. Probably. I think that happened in some way or another. Because Red makes a video about Kyle getting shit on by Droopy, signifying that she has no plans of truce anytime soon.
Stan is actually impressed how real the whole thing seems. Kyle is justifiably mad and in rage, he joins Butters and Kenny in making a video of Red and Bluey.
Harris and Mitch here represent Trey and Matt, talking about how time has changed, and as a result they have become unneeded as cops/writers.
Red, the ice skater. We learn more about her every time she is on the screen now, I guess. I'm kind of disappointed that this scene wasn't shown, but it's implied that the Rocky and Bullwinkle costumes worked, and Red opened up to the policemen about what happened. Which puts Butters, Kenny and Kyle on trial.
But when Bluey actually appeared... I never felt safe for a moment after that point. Like, for the remaining 5 minutes I kept waiting for the reveal that it's just a Sora video and the police still haven't figured out anything, Butters didn't confess and Eric is still being kept captive by Peter Thiel. But no, Bluey is real and all of this happened.
Totoro is not real, he was drawn by Ghibli animators with pencil and pen. Bluey however is very real and acts the same way the official Bluey does, they didn't even parody her, they just straight up included the character. And in the story, Bluey is mad about not being paid by Butters and the boys for the video about her and Red. But has the real company behind Bluey got paid for this appearance?
So the Peter Thiel stuff is either abruptly resolved, or at least Eric has returned home. I was kinda interested in watching another episode at school without him, but I guess with these short seasons, that's as far as it gets.
While this happened, Trump cheated on Satan with JD Vance and being the karma Houdini he is, he successfully convinced his followers that the footage of that is just AI. Will the antichrist be born? Will Damien be back? Will the Trump stuff resolve itself by the end of the season? We'll learn in a month, I guess.
