Ok scenario if Red successfully marked Mc, Mc didn't know what a mark is but when explained they started to scratch the mark yelling they didn't want this and even if they need to burn the mark off they don't care getridofitgetridofit- How would the others react to that?

Well at that point not a lot of the skeletons would actually be around her, Mutt would've gotten her out and into the safety of her own room. The only other skeleton likely to be there would be Papyrus and/or Blue.

And unfortunately, there's not much any of them can do. They'd just have to try and calm her down and get to accept the mark for now, because those marks run deep. Nothing can get them off and no amount of scratching or burning will help the situation. All that would do is hurt Mc and agitate Red to the point he may actually loose himself to his instincts for a while, going into a protective frenzy at what his instincts perceive as a threat to the life of his mate. But he'd mostly just be uncomfortable and agitated, upset by Mc's volatile whirlwind of emotions.

Mutt would definitely be upset by the reaction, he doesn't like seeing Mc so upset. It hurts him to see her like that, but there's not much they can do. So he'll just have to comfort her. Blue, Papyrus, Stretch, and San mostly would just feel pity and bad for her, they really can't imagine what that'd be like. They don't really want to know either. But Blue and Papyrus would try to comfort her as well.

Edge is just conflicted. He knows this isn't something anyone should have to go through, no matter how bad they might be. So he feels bad for her, but this is also negatively affecting his brother in a way he really doesn't like so he wishes she'd just calm down. Black doesn't really feel any particular way, he does feel a bit bad for her. She's obviously very distressed and unhappy, but he's more concerned with how it affects Mutt.

Hello there! I was reading up on some of your asks because I will got to the ends of the earth for your content-

And I’ve noticed you written some stuff about red marking mc- so that made me curios. If the mark was permeant and there was no way to get rid of it what would the aftermath be like? Do they just continue living like normal? Or does red n mc become this weird domestic couple because their instincts say so?

I would also love to know if they eventually became a real couple. After months or even years of talking it out and trying to figure out their situation of course.

Well, I've redone my marking/SOUL Bond headcannons a lot. So not everything I wrote before exactly applies anymore, or at least doesn't fit cleanly in at least.

But to your actual question, they would just continue living as normal. Marking, and SOUL Bonds in general, is not inherently romantic or sexual. They'd likely just live as friends, able to be separated more and more as the years go on. They would need to live together, but since they live in the same house already that wouldn't be a problem. Mc just wouldn't be able to move out like she was planning to.

But they could become a couple if that's what they really wanted. It'd take a long time though, since neither had really wanted the Mark or that relationship to begin with.

I have been wondering, what would of happened if red tried to mark mc (same scenario in the story) in the scenario that mc is from mutts and blacks au? What’s the difference if red did succeed?

Uh, lots of attempted murder, from both Black and Mutt. Mc is their human, and Red dares to try to mark her without her consent? He dares to try and take her as his? Nuh uh. Not happening. Death. Death for Red.

And if Red did somehow succeed, Black will find a way to sever it and then he will dust Red for daring to do it in the first place. Mc would barely be able to keep him from doing so, and she'd likely be tempted not to even try. Black's dusted Monsters for less, he's more than willing to do it for this.

Mutt would assist his brother and he would not help keep him from dusting Red. He likes Mc much more than he likes Red, especially after touching and trying to bind her to him forever without her consent.

What’s Edges reaction to his brother marking Mutts and Blacks human? I’m sure it’s mostly the same as if Red succeeded in marking mc in the story but now he has the added threat of murderus and motivated Black and Mutt.

Edge’s reaction is pretty much the same. He’s disappointed, horrified, and somewhat disgusted. He can’t believe it.

But he’s definitely not going to let his brother be dusted over it, regardless of his feelings on the matter. He’ll be watching over Red for his safety and on guard until the two calm down some.

Mc: guys we can’t kill red! Black: can’t? Mc:...we should not kill red... please? Mutt: *behind mc trying to mime to black that he will distract her to give black the time to do the deed*

Mc would elbow him in the ribs without looking away from Black because she knows he's doing it. She's lived with these two for how long? And actively shares a room and bed with Mutt, along with growing up beside. Rarely ever apart.

Yeah, he's not getting that by her. She knows him too well.

Can we get a better idea of what Mutt would of done if red succeeded in marking her? I kinda see him as keeping red away from her as much as possible at first lol.

He would be trying to keep Mc away from him as much as possible at first, but Red would help by avoiding them for a while too. But they can't keep that up forever, considering Red's instincts are basically screaming at him to be closer to her now and the longer they're apart, the more uncomfortable Mc gets. A part of her wants to close to Red too, despite how uncomfortable with the whole thing she is.

It'd take a while, and a lot of talking, for Mutt to calm down and let him be closer to her. For a while, until he's sure Mc is comfortable enough around Red to be left alone and Red isn't going to do anything to her, Mutt will be hanging around them close. Often with an arm around her, close enough to relax the two but far enough to be comfortable.

As much as he may feel like he wants to dust Red for it, he knows he can't. And as much as Mc may be scared, he knows there's unlikely to really be a way out of it in this scenario. So all he can do is comfort her and keep an eye socket on Red until everyone gets comfortable. In the downtime, he's looking for anything that may look like it could be a way to break the bond.

Hey, me again. What would have happened if Red succeeded in marking Mc? (Is marking the right word? With the bite thing?)

Yes marking is the right work. I've answered with the skeletons' reactions here.

But basically what would happen is some of the skeletons would be looking for a way to undo the mark and others would be comforting Mc. Red and Mc would've ended up getting to know each other better, Edge as well since Mc will technically be family now.

Taylor likely would've been caught sooner, as Red is attached to Mc now and would've been able to tell. Plus with the skeletons trying to find a way out of this for them, they would've needed to see Mc's SOUL. G and Aster would've come in earlier as well, just to help find the answer to whether it could've been broken or not.
