I looked up to Instagram and saw those family movie-themed CNY red packets. I think they look so cool! 😊

So far, we only see Poppy and Tiny Diamond in two of the Trolls World Tour-themed red packets. Let’s hope they had a Branch one too.

Bo Chinese New Year Angpow by Fong Kamwei. 2016.

Fong Kamwei is an artist and brand designer based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. His ongoing project, Bo&Friends, has gained a wide range of fans, collectors and collaborators across the globe. Bo (meaning wide, broad or versatile in Cantonese), the main feature of the project, is a goldfish character created as a result of Fong’s self-professed “obsession” with goldfish.

To Fong, Bo represents a personalised level of human engineering on the goldfish, an existing product of genetic modification. Bo is a reminder of positivity and playfulness, evoking the same feelings of calm and peace that Fong experiences when he observes living goldfish.

Made especially by Fong for his parents, the Bo angpows are fully handmade with champagne gold paper and illustrated with gold ink.
