Chisaki Kai Redemption Program AU, Part 1
I wanted to gather stuff about Chisaki's RED project (redemption au) I made till now. There's a lot and it's late so don't mind me if I miss some stuff tehe. It's just a bunch of headcanons!
Nao is my oc, his counselor and my subtle self insert that I shamelessly ship with Kai. This list though is focusing on how Chisaki reacts to the redemption project and is shipping free.
You can find the stories here
• Chisaki joins the RED project on his own, hoping it could help him get out of Tartarus.
• He expects it to be a naive project with "friendship is magic" attitude, instead he gets an ironic counselor who quickly starts calling him out on his shit.
• They meet every two days for two hours.
• It takes a long time for Chisaki to actually start opening up and even then he tries to calculate every word. His main goal is to just get out of Tartarus and see Pops.
• Chisaki understands his past actions. The only thing he doesn't want to address is Eri.
• (In his eyes Eri is the embodiment of his own insecurities and fears. She reminds him too much of himself and his childhood. He hates it.)
• He starts spacing out and losing track of time. If not for the visits of Nao he would lose it totally.
• Chisaki starts having panick attacks, especially first few months. Some of them are violent to the point he needs to be pacified.
• He doesn't get much sleep. His dreams usually contains Shigaraki, Pops or Eri and they're negative every time.
• Nao is not at all professional. He's more of a friend than a counselor to Chisaki but thanks to that Kai starts to trust him enough to talk.
• Still, their discussions are pretty basic. Kai doesn't talk much so Nao fills the void most of the time. When they talk it's usually basic stuff like books, movies and games.
• Once they actually got to talk about Shie Hassaikai. It was the first time that Kai was the one to talk almost whole 2 hours. At the end Kai admitted he feels guilty for destroying his family.
• Normally the RED project counselors have to follow a lot of rules when dealing with villains. But Nao managed to make a bet with the warden. Thanks to that he can bring Chisaki one prosthetic.
• It's old and uncomfortable and doesn't clench hard enough to hold small objects but it obviously lifts Chisaki's mood.
• Chisaki and Nao often discuss the hero society. It's the only topic Kai wants to come back to on his own.
• It's also the topic they argue about the most. Kai, knowing Nao's past and quirk, can't understand why he doesn't hate heroes and quirks in general.
• One of those argues leads to Kai slipping about how he always hated his own quirk. He knew it's powerful and useful but couldn't ever imagine how to use it for "good".
• Asked, he finally speaks about Eri too. Her quirk was even more deadly than his. He was so disgusted about it he never even saw a child in her.
• Nao realize the disgust Chisaki so often speaks about is more a feeling of fear. He points it out but Kai doesn't agree.
• When he thinks about it deeply Chisaki know it's true. He never admits it to Nao though.
• (Manga spoiler) A month before the Tartarus break out Nao gets hospitalized. He falls into coma after fighting a villain.
• (Manga spoiler) Chisaki refuse working with a different counselor. He doesn't change his mind and regress during the month before the break out.
Red Project: Don’t worry, I’ve got a few knives up my sleeve.
Doctor: I think you mean cards.
Red Project: *pulling three knives out of her sleeves* I do not.
How to compile your idea of concept photoshoot ?
There are moments, when you feel like you have an idea for a concept photoshoot you want to do, but feeling it will be too much or how to make a path that leads to successful final result? Still stuck? Worry not I have listed a process I tried, which might help you as well to stay on track.
Step 1 - Write down you idea
Writing your idea on a piece of paper will not only help you to remember it. The written words will also help you to modify it as you start processing your idea.
When an idea pops out in your mind write it down immediately in a note pad, book, diary, or a blank paper.
Keeping a small note book with you either in a car, wallet, bed room or working area will help you to write and remember your ideas and useful key information.
For example - I wanted to create a photo manipulation. The concepts was "QUEST" in which, A girl handing a lantern in the woods while wearing the red hood.
For QUEST project - I wrote in my notebook beside my bed to check back later.
Third day from writing the idea down, I visited that page again and made a moodboard of my ideas and inspiration.
Step 2 - Research your Idea
Now you have an idea / concept in your mind, lets start by writing more about the idea.
Idea - I want to photograph someone holding a lantern in Red riding hood theme.
Place - Woods
You can also start by listing items / or scouting the location you need for the photoshoot.
Things Needed- Red hood/ cloth/ bed-sheet
Equipments - Off Camera Flash, Stand, Pocket Wizards, Camera, lens with big f stop number.
Model - Ask your friends/post on Facebook you will get someone who wants to volunteer for you.
Step 3 - Plan the shoot
After listing all your needs about the concept photoshoot.
Share your mood board with your model and plan your calendar for the shoot.
Make sure you check the weather one day of shooting prior to your shoot, also if you can visit your location before the shoot "Thank me later".
Research if your selected location is safe to be for certain hours, ask for permission if the location belongs to someone.
Contact your model with whole story, location, date and time.
Step 4 - The big Day
Collect all the stuff you have listed for the shoot a night before and contact your model prior to the shoot.
Don't forget food / water for yourself and the model, you never know how long it will take "Be ready".
Make sure you have backup of almost everything camera, lens, memory cards, flash, light-meter, pocket wizards, tripod, because you never know what kind of error you may face in the field.
Check your location for any dangerous thing on the surface, metal, nails, broken glass "Safety first".
Practise the shoot and setup the props before your model arrive on the location.
Check the batteries, white balance, also measure DOP and mark the positions of the photographer and the model)
Shoot the concept and be patience. Keep reminding your self it was your idea and you have to make it.
Don't just shoot and leave, instead shoot and review on big screen and make note if you have everything in focus. Once you are satisfied scream "PACK UP".
Research and make notes from the shoot for future reference.
Step 5- Edit / Composite
Don't forget to copy the original RAW files in backup drive before editing.
Cull the images
Edit the photo
Photoshop
Pat yourself on the back for a successful project.
Make a list of project you want to do or keep writing in the notebook and check frequently.
Sleep for 24 hours
The Final Result
"QUEST"
