I feel like it's weird for Invincible fans to say that superhero/non-superhero relationships can't work when the show a) showed how stable Debbie and Nolan's relationship was prior to his lies/betrayal and b) recently made it explicit in Debbie and Paul's break-up that she HAS been part of that world even when she isn't a super-powered hero/alien herself.
