Mogeko March Day 25 || Alternate Universe; Red Sea AU

So after the red sea ending in WATGBS, Wadanohara eventually turns Samekichi to the red sea and he’s a mute and her servant. His injured eye is blind and his other eye goes red. On top of that, Samekichi gets to wear Old’s cloak because reasons. Also Sal is not the happiest camper but Wada can kick his ass so it’s okay.

ok but get this:

red sea ending samekichi trying to elaborate plans to save wadanohara from sal but realizing it wouldnt lead to anything and that wadanohara doesnt even need to be saved, since she’s so happy in the red sea

samekichi losing hope little by little, becoming completelly numb to everything around him, and starting to fool himself to think maybe being part of the red sea wouldnt be so bad

wadanohara visiting him everyday and reinforcing those thoughts because she thinks it’s the right thing

samekichi turning red one day and manipulating wadanohara into letting him out of his cell without telling sal

“it would be a nice surprise for him to see me don’t you think”

“i guess so!”

samekichi asking wadanohara to lead him to sal

samekichi grabbing a sword/knife/sharp thing on the way

samekichi killing sal only to see a devastated wadanohara weeping on the ground next to his corpse asking repeatedly in a heartbreaking voice

“why did you do that ?”

“why did you kill him ?”

“why ?”

wadanohara being incapable of getting over the death of sal and completely shutting herself 

samekichi exiling himself because if he stayed he would get killed in a matter of days, and also maybe because he broke the old promise he made to himself to keep wadanohara happy
