'The Red Shoes' is a very famous ballet from the 30's and it was about a dancer who was given these evil red shoes that made her dance non-stop and she tries to escape it but she cant and it ends in heartbreak and pain. I think it was clever of IU to use this as a concept because it shows how sometimes you can't escape heartache as much as you try to shake it off. (From:generationsabotage)
