nico books 3-10: people think im weird because of my parentage, and even before that, i was judged for being obviously different. i struggle to forgive people and my queerness further makes me feel alienated from others. i might have a cool character arc later about learning my limits and forgiving my mind and body for not working how i wanted them to.

nico in cotd for some reason: i went to therapy with a white woman that quotes tumblr posts every day of her life with a live laugh love poster in her office and have mimicked her behavior and personality completely. my "complexity" is a big hammer that says "IM TRAUMATIZED OR SOMETHING" and i slam you in the face with it 16 times every chapter. also my fatal flaw no longer exists and percy is the devil for killing this (immortal) guy that vaporized his mom in front of him at 12. these children that are scared of a guy that used to carry around the necklaces of children to show off how many he murdered and are protesting against the people allowing him into their safe space are evil and must be homophobic or racist or whatever this books message was supposed to be. man my fans LOVE me!

After being sent to protect earth she actually fell in love with human fashion and became a fashion model before joining earth's current defense force (no name yet). All the accessories in her ultra form are added by herself to look "fashionable". She finds human beauty fascinating tho the beauty standard the industry has kinda icks her a little. Everyone is beautiful in her eyes.

She transforms using this eye mask thingy and I like to imagine that her transformation is like those magical girl transformations just shorter timewise.

I imagine she's kind of a young adult-ish ultra that slowly grows. From trying to be impressive to like genuinely caring for earth. "friendship power" kind of trope.
