🙋 + Pallet Town

Despite not spending a lot of his current years there, Pallet Town does hold a special place in his heart – it’s familiarity, it’s calm ambiance, the fact that his mother is located there. There was, however, a time he loathed his hometown.

It was about ten years ago: the Pallet Prodigies – as Kanto had called them – had all claimed the Champion title and they have taken down the nefarious Team Rocket. It’s no wonder such a small town like Pallet was booming with tourists and screaming young trainers.

Red fells something in his mind coil and tighten as he recalls such events and sighs loudly.

high school au

still stuck in a middle school scene/emo kid phase

which is why he gave himself the nickname ‘red’ #edgy

used to be the top of the class in freshman year, but it’s ‘cool’ to not try so…here he is now

spends most of the school day in the greenhouse or roof you know just…skipping class

his favorite class is animal science since he gets to interact with animals

somehow still graduates tho? (college on the other hand was a total mess tbh)

but like at the same time i feel like a lot of people see him as this cool mysterious figure – even though he’s a complete nerd (think handa sei)

i’m not gonna lie: brain washed to become a team rocket member so he doesn’t remember what he was/is like before he became a rocket member

but there are times when his memories are triggered by some events so it’s back to the clinic where the brainwashing happens again~

again, pretty savage during missions. doesn’t mind dirtying his own hands.

rather blend in with the background and stay a grunt forever than being promoted tho

he has a sentimental streak which the boss probs would NOT overlook (ie was strongly against chopping slowpoke tails for profit)

a very capable hitman that was recruited at a very young age

usually very reserved but merciless and savage when going in for the kill

super loyal to the boss and sees him as a father figure so anything the boss says, he does

but he adamantly refuses to kill women and children.

he’s eventually going to be like killua – finds the light and trying to escape that kind of life. changing himself bc he found something that’s actually worth living for

Anyone, really. Despite what people assume, Red can laugh pretty well if he deems it amusing enough. It’s just that his sense of humor’s kind of…dark and strange?

Romance is something Red doesn’t even consider thinking about (or rather, it’s not even included in his dictionary) It’s not that he thinks romance is ‘unnecessary’ or ‘useless’ or something only kids think about – if he matures enough, I’m sure he’ll actively go looking for ‘the one’.

But at the moment, it’s no one.
