I was asked the following questions:
1. Rate the Star Wars movies in order, from your favourite to least favourite.
ESB, TLJ, TFA, ANH, R1, ROTS, ROTJ, AOTC, TPM (AOTC and TPM kind of tend to switch places depending on my mood).
2. What’s your true opinion on Anakin? Victim of circumstances or little shit? Bit of both?
Bit of both. Palpatine knew exactly where to hit, and Anakin did feel like he couldn’t talk about his insecurities to anyone (including Padmé, though he did open up more with her), but he made loads of bad decisions.
3. Darth Maul: Hot or Nope?
Nope? But I can sort of see the appeal.
4. What’s your favourite Reylo moment in canon, and why?
Hand-touching Force Bond scene. FIGHT ME.
5. What’s your favourite Reylo trope/moment in fandom? (can be a scene from a specific fanfic or something general)
The TLJ trailer. I actually screamed out loud when I saw the ending to it.
6. Is there anything you’d written differently if you were working on Star Wars since 1977?
... maybe jump in the writing room during the time ANH was made and say: “Hey, peeps, how ‘bout we decide right away Leia and Luke are related?”
7. Can you believe we were given the gift of shirtless Kylo on the big screen?
*wipes tear* I still can’t believe it.
8. What’s your ideal Reylo ending? (marriage, exile, babies, tragic death,…)
Marriage and babies. I WANT MY CHILDREN TO BE HAPPY FFS - though I do expect a bittersweet ending, I don’t think it’s going to end with Rey and Ben not being able to be together, because considering they’ve been very lonely their entire life, it would just be too sad. So I think Episode IX *might* end with Rey and Ben being outcasts, somehow, but they’ll have each other.
9. Do you have something in common with Rey?
I think it’s the tendency to bottle up anything negative and putting on a smile to cover it up. Also, wanting to belong somewhere.
10. Do you have something in common with Kylo Ren/Ben Solo?
Fab hair and nerdom. Okay, on a more serious note... I don’t know. I have some ideas, but it would get too personal.
11. What is the (N)SFW Reylo headcanon you will defend to the death?
Head. Lots and lots of head.
I have a headcanon that for their first anniversary, since they travel a lot to all kinds of places, Ben installs a little green space on the Falcon. You can guess Rey LOVES it.
