The male gave a small smile and hugged him back. “Oh I will~”

 "I am NOT kidding." He didn't exactly pull away from the hug yet. Why not just let it happen.. for a respectable amount of time. Nothing weird at all. "Don't tell anyone. Especially not Mikoto-san or that yapping dog." He'd never hear the end of it.

He sighed, "seriously? You don't seem the lovey-dovey type.." Or a cuddly type at all. but whatever, it wasn't like he had a choice. Yata got close to the other and wrapped his arms around him.
