"Oi vey." The vampire mumble under his breath, bright red eyes linger on each injury presented on the stranger's face. Feck, what happened to you?? Blaise had already finished feeding, and the strong scent of blood nearby caught his attention. Some concern but curiosity as he follow the trail to find Elias. He did feel a bit helpless, just standing there and making a quick comment. If his sister was here - she would waste no time healing him.

He would wince nervously as he slowly approach, why were people so cruel? He had witness a fair share of cruelty but still. It was ridiculous. "I'm sorry that happened to you." He replied, sympathy heard in his vocals as eyes were now fill with concern.

"Would you like to come to my place? My sister, she is a bit of a healer, and a good cook. She can get you fixed up alongside with a delicious meal."

"Don’t make this harder, please."

" oh, babe, i promise ya, there is no other way ta make this harder. " despite the strained smile, guy's voice sounds uncharacteristically frantic — scared even — but he still manages to mix it with frustration. " this is it. this is the pinnacle of how hard this is. i cannot make it any harder than this because it is already REALLY FUCKIN' HARD— ! "

( ... ) he didn't mean to yell. he always tries not to. not at elias, not at anyone. when he realizes, he forces himself back down to earth and reels all his emotions in. as much as the world and himself would disagree, guy gardner is someone who actually feels a lot. he doesn't really like it, especially when it explodes into someone else's face like this. everyone says he doesn't care about anybody and honestly? guy wishes he didn't. it would make everything so much easier.

but he does. and elias is one of those people who have the misfortune of being cared for by him.

a construct chair appears behind him without a word to which he then proceeds to drop onto. he leans his head back and presses his palm to his face. " watchin' ya die every single time sucks, eli. an' it's even worse when ya come back an' don't remember who i am. i'll deal with it fer ya, sure, but dealin' with it doesn't mean i gotta smile 'bout it the entire time. " then he slowly peels his hand away, sits upright, and locks eyes with the other. " if ya really want me ta make this easier, then ya may as well just tell me ta not give a damn 'bout ya ( ... ) but we both know that ain't gonna work. "

Mercy it is in comparison to the relative chill of... the sun's too shy, yet. Curling into the newfound warmth, Elias gains a new, less sequined, backpack. The cool bites at his shoulders too, worms its way under their newfound sanctuary, and... hey. He stole the blanket for the better half of whatever-time-it-is, if he fights her on cuddling, well...

Realistically, she won't do anything about it. It's a selfish thing, isn't it.

Her nose warms the patch of skin just beneath his ear, her arm saddled up and over his side, clung to his chest. It's yet a vice grip, but Ashley's never half-done anything. A sigh wafts from her lips, even as it further confuses their already uncertain balance of heat / cool. At this point, she's usually gone -- at this point, she hasn't drifted. Reason blinks into her gaze, even as sleep dissipates; he hasn't thrown her out, yet. Enjoy it while it lasts, enjoy it before you trip over your own feet running.

"And thank you for being the perfect teddy bear. Really. Way cozier than my last."

a little smile tugs at the corner of his lips as he gently applies the antiseptic cream, making sure that it's applied evenly & rubbed in correctly. "because i'm a gentle person. believe it or not, i might look a bit big and scary but i promise i'm not. 'm just here to give a helping hand when it's needed." which is further shown by the uniform and the large EMT badge that sits on his chest.

Sarah would sit there beside Elias, a stranger who had quickly became a friend. They had just got some cola, chit chatting - getting to know each other until he revealed his true story. Golly, and I thought I had a complicated life, Sarah thought, taking a sip of her beverage as her pinkie hook around his. A small gesture to comfort him. She did not like holding hands. Sarah would look at him with a calm expression, but sympathy shown in her eyes. Poor thing, what a tragic yet fascinating life he lived.

Her pinkie gave his one quick, yet gentle squeeze before releasing. She would pull her backpack on to her lap, searching through it before taking out a packet of tissues. Pulling one out, she would reach over to gently wipe the tears away.

She would set her notebook on her lap, flipping it open to a clean page, smiling weakly as she written on it. 'If you die and forget about me - I will always remember you and this conversation. I will hold it close to my heart. I promise.'

She gave her index finger a soft peck, tapping his cheek gently afterwards. Sarah does have a unique way of comforting someone, but she hope that Elias knew that she cared about him.

𐔌՞. .՞𐦯 . . ❝ So what I'm hearing is - I'm taking your breath away? ❞ Sweet, little pecks were dotted upon his lips and down his chin, GIGGLES bubbling in her throat at the hitch of his breath and her own teasing ; hands deigning to continue their journey in slipping beneath Elias' shirt. The two had been entangled on the couch for what seemed to be hours at that point, but Elara knew it was more - so 30 minutes, give or take. What had started as INNOCENT kisses soon delved into more amorous territory -- Elara having been the one to deepen the kisses, fingers treading through Elias' hair and it hadn't been long before she was straddling him.

Now the sounds of them panting and her own laughter blanketed them instead of smacking lips & heated moans. ❝ Am I took much for you, Elias? ❞ Whispered, sultry & soft, against the curve of his cheek as she trailed her mouth upwards. ❝ We can slow things down, if you want... ❞

 john had rounded the corner to a thump! and the screech of spinning tires burning rubber on the asphalt. the poor sod left lying in the road after the car sped off was in one piece, at the very least, although john couldn't find much else positive to say about him -- just from the looks of him, if he wasn't already dead, he sure would be soon.

which is why is was so damn startling when he not only groaned in pain, but moved like he wanted to sit up. john had been about to dial for an ambulance, but promptly abandoned the idea to rush to the young man's side.

" steady on, lad, you're alright. " trying not to put pressure on any sore spots ( which wasn't an easy task, considering everything looked like it'd be sore after a hit like that ), john pushed him to stay lying down, as still as he could. consider that his one good deed for the week, then. " easy does it, no last rites today. just- don't squirm around so much. "

his body seemed to be looking after itself, in a macabre sort of way, leaving john with little else to do but press the bones and sinew back into place to ( hopefully ) help everything knit itself back together. well, that, and imbue each touch with just enough magic to ease the pain.

" yeah, it is, though, i'nt it? learnt it after i broke me leg at a gig one time. there's a reason they don't let morons like us jump off stage anymore. same goes with walking into traffic, y'know. " he even laughed -- not so much because the current circumstances were funny, the sorry bastard was in a crossing after all, but because it seemed like it might lighten the grim mood.
