OPEN STARTER:

Bombsight. That name, that moniker, he hated it. It wasn't who he was, wasn't he wanted to be, anything but. He shook his head as he was addressed, refusal, denial, bitterness souring his gentle tongue. "You don't know me." He told them firmly, forcing those worn blue eyes to face them. "None of you do."

Gee willikers, it's Bombsight!

Sarah was practically grinning like the cheshire cat, her beating so fast out of excitement. She felt as if her heart will leap out of her chest. She could not believe her eyes; standing before her was one of her favourite superheroes. She had seen his face in numerous newspaper articles, advertisements, and even the brief commercials played in the movie theatre.

'You're Bombsight! I just know it!' Sarah scribble in her notebook, happily showing him. But when her eyes glance over - that grin morphed into a frown. That was not the reaction she was expecting. Guilt took over - she did not mean to make him upset. She was just happy to meet him.

Sarah flip over to a clean page in her note book, proceeding to write with her black marker. 'I'm sorry, I did not mean to make you upset. Please, accept my apology.'

Shoulders give a nonchalant shrug in response. “This is literally your own fault. Not only do you spark my endless well of curiosity, but you have brought nothing tasty along with you to keep me otherwise occupied. At least, if my mouth was full, I wouldn't be talking so much.” Never helped that she was nonverbal; therefore, she had a hard time interrupting him when he was speaking.

Sarah could only sigh out of defeat. She did enjoy the company of others - she loved meeting new people. However, when it came to the handful of unfortunate events that led her to have a bizarre life; she was more focused on returning home instead of making friends. Mateo was harmless, yet kind, but a chatterbox. She'd open her backpack, rummaging through and took out a chocolate bar - handing it to him. A brief eye roll along with a chuckle, she pull her notebook on her lap - scribbling on it:

Sarah would smoke a cig here and there - trying to look cool in front of her friends. However, after everything she went through — she smokes almost every day to ease her anxieties.
