Headcanons for some side characters:

Jessica

• Gyaru style

• Was 30 when Lasko found her.

• Human born, and, like Lasko, her family reacted poorly to her powers developing.

• Studied at DAMN and became a therapist after graduation.

• Saw herself in Lasko and practically raised him (in a mother sense or older sister sense), and tried to provide him the help she never got.

Brian

• Has two daughters, one now a teenager and one a toddler.

• At the time of his audio, his wife was pregnant with his second.

• When he gets the chance to call them, his teen daughter reads him a list of things that have happened, trying to keep it short due to time constraints.

• He always feels guilty that his work has kept him from being there for his kids big milestones (award ceremonies, birthdays, etc).

Eric

• This man is TIRED.

• He helps with making public statements for the department, but everyone knows him as "the PowerPoint guy", and he hates it.

• Whenever someone is brought in for learning about magic, he's the one that drags them into a room and puts the video on, to which he leaves the room immediately because he does not want to hear or see himself in those.

• Him and Sweetheart (sometimes Crux) would hangout in the break room to tall shit (nothing that would get them fired, but still shit talk none the less).

Arden & Christian

• Both are strong enough to carry the other on their shoulder.

• Christian met Amanda in highschool through her and Arden being friends (sister's best friend type shit). Arden teased the heck out of him for it.

• When they were teenagers, they would sneak away at family gatherings (with Kelsey) and chill in a random empty room.

• Christian was the favorite child, despite their parents constantly denying having favorites.
