If we’ve talked fics then you know, “Chosen” by Darkhorse6 is my favorite fic of all time. This story rewrote parts of my brain, the same way encountering Raphael in the game originally did.

It’s a massive novel of a fiction (this bound version is 584 pages). I was so afraid of it being abandoned or deleted off of ao3 that I went about printing it and keeping it in three ring binder. (Reading this in bed was soooo convenient and comfortable 🙄) So when I saw @redacted-redd had made a hand found printed out book of this fiction. I was absolutely floored.

I could tell they were a fan of the story by their delightful Paladin “chosen“ run. (Seriously those screenshots gave me flashbacks to my fave part at the end) and I cannot get over how extremely generous they were when they offered to also bind me a copy. This arrived in the mail the other day and I am beyond overjoyed to receive it.

The details are mind-boggling. The font is so beautifu, the hand stitched red threads holding the book together are delightful, refined touch, I adore the different ao3 review snippet in praise of page and when I got to the final page and saw there was a personalized dedication, I teared up. This is one of the sweetest, most generous things anyone has ever given me. I’ve said it from the beginning and I’ll say it again: this fandom truly has the best people in it.

If you don’t already follow @redacted-redd go check them out. They’re infintely talented and kind and I can’t wait to see what else they create. I cannot thank you enough, [ Redacted ] !!! This is truly a piece of art that I cherish to death. It’s priceless. I love it!!!!!
