sometimes I do that "read your dialogue out loud to see if it sounds natural" trick thing, and raphael's lines somehow sound both completely unnatural and exactly like shit he'd say

What glorious day ! Raphael gets a sweet crocheted hat, tiny devil horns on top of it. Questionable, if he even needs it in the hells, but it sure looks . . . dashing !

He did look dashing. He wondered if she took commissions for little Raphael crochet totems as well.

1. do not cheap out on a good ergonomic chair if you work on a computer/sit all day. DO NOT!! Had to replace my old one and I feel like I was so dumb for not picking a good one before. the shrimp is appeased.....

2. steam deck is awesome, if you were wondering. buy one if you are a handheld enthusiast and be besties with me

3. If you're wondering whether you should send me something or not, the answer is always yes. If you worry you'll be weird, no worries, I will outweird you. (threat)

4. most things aren't personal at all. specially in online spaces. chill out its not an attack!! we are just weird & we all live in our own little world where we are protagonists and likely ain't even thinking much abt anyone else

Raphael had not stopped talking. He was somewhere in the middle of a sentence about destiny, or opportunity, or some other word mortals were meant to find flattering. . . Then he reached. Just a finger, sliding beneath her chin absentmindedly, adjusting the angle of her lovely face up to meet his gaze.

The gesture was small, her response was not. He sighed, deeply. The trouble with drow.

“My, my. Now that was instructive” His tongue clicked. “Tell me. Was it the clause, my dear ─── or the finger?”

Or perhaps a third thing entirely. Raphael was usually too full of himself to recognise his own infuriating habits.

The corner of his mouth lifted, despite the situation. Or, more accurately, because of it. The man had never met an inconvenience he could not aestheticise
