We are inviting you to come to: ARTIST TALK | Artist in Residency Program Ari Bayuaji Saturday, 24 September 2016, 14.00 WIB at REDBASE Foundation, Yogyakarta Ari Bayuaji was born in Indonesia in 1975. Moving permanently to Canada in 2005, he studied Fine Arts at Concordia University (2005-2010). Since 2009 he has been creating his artwork at his studios both in Montreal (Canada) and in Bali (Indonesia). Ari Bayuaji has had his artwork exhibited at group and solo exhibitions in Denmark, Montreal, Ottawa, Singapore, and Indonesia. In 2008, Ari Bayuaji received the Danfoss Art Award (bronze), a Danish arts award from Denmark for international students of art, design, and architecture from around the world, and had his winning artwork exhibited in Denmark. In 2014, The Esplanade Theatre by The Bay in Singapore commissioned his installation, Silence, for the grand staircase of the arts centre as part of their Festival of Sacred Music.
