It's hard not to notice the way Eijiro's bright smile fades a little quicker than usual, the slightly strained quality to his normally upbeat and energetic speech patterns. He's not sure if everyone else is simply waiting for a better time to approach him, or what- But he feels compelled to say something. It's nothing out of the ordinary, a loop of his arm around his friend's shoulders as they stray a little further from the group under the guise of having some ‘Man Talk’.

“Hey. Maybe this is just me being a little over-vigilant, but... If there’s something eatin’ at ya, you know you can always come to me, right? Anytime. Just text or call me and I’ll be there for you, man. If you need me to shut up and let you vent, I can do that- Or if you want a second opinion, I’ll be on the level with you,” he promises, giving the other student a thumbs up and a winning smile.

Tetsu’s wide and toothy grin eases back down into something a little softer, almost sad as he lightly presses his forehead against Kirishima’s, pulling his classmate in for a sudden hug.

“You don’t gotta be the strong one all the time... Otherwise what are friends for, huh?”
