definitely need to ask you this too, i’ve been asking my Christian pals lately — SCENARIO: you’re on a deserted island. and for the purpose of this situation, in this world, every book of the Bible is its own separate physical book. the ones that are 1 & 2 (or 1, 2, & 3, in the case of John’s Letters) are allowed to be combined into a single book. so it would just be Samuel, Kings, Corinthians, etc. NOW. YOU ARE ONLY ALLOWED FIVE (5) BOOKS OF THE BIBLE TO KEEP WITH YOU ON THIS DESERTED ISLAND. WHICH DO YOU CHOOSE!!!!!!
Hey, friend! I miss you, I hope you're doing okay!
Going through old asks and realized I never answered this. Hmmmm this is so hard!
1. Psalms, for sure. Especially in that kind of scenario, that sounds very comforting.
2. Matthew. My favorite Gospel, and the one that focuses the most on the prophecies.
3. Ruth. Okay LISTEN, I know it's only 4 chapters, but I can't leave it behind.
4. Samuel. Contains a lot of the narratives I know best.
5. Genesis. One of the longest books, and a lot of those crucial Sunday School narratives.
