This verse can take place in any setting falling under the “world ending event” umbrella. Fallout, Walking Dead, Dawn of the Dead, A Quiet Place, etc. or just any post apocalyptic setting in general.
Ren is a survivor of the world’s “end” and had to adapt to his new situation very quickly in order to continue to survive. Thankfully, he already had a well trained proficiency with pistols and hand to hand combat so he made his way through the new world fairly easily. He’s semi-nomadic, preferring to keep moving instead of settle in one place, but always setting up a place to return to in each area he frequents. A scavenger, not a raider, he doesn’t always have the BEST of things but he always has plenty and often helps out people he comes across who are in need of food, water or medical care.
His kind nature puts a rather large target on his back and he is always ready to defend himself in any given situation as he was jumped and robbed several times in the early days of his new life. He’s learned through hard knocks but it hasn’t shaken his resolve to do good and he makes it a goal to remain the person he wants to be, not who the world seeks to make him.
Age: 19+ depending on timeline.
Appearance: *see image* A more scuffed up, partial version of his familiar style, he continues to sport the colors. His hair has grown and been cut several times but the pink stripe has grown along with it and is now much longer, matching with the longer layer overall. Having aged a bit, he now sports a scruff that is both practical and simply because he doesn’t always have the time or tools to shave but also because it protects his skin from the harsh sun and winds of the desolate landscape. He carries Stormflower on his thighs as always and sports a necklace with his emblem.
Skills: Melee, hand to hand, pistols, cooking and foraging knowledge, hunting, stealth, dexterity, climbing, defense, makes relationships with people easily and has many friends in trade towns.
Weaknesses: Stamina. Energy level. Long distance combat (rifles), easily manipulated, often alone, lack of stability, low technological ability.
( P.S: The site I used to make the image only had a couple image so I made Nora because, duh, but she isn’t automatically in the verse! )
