A behind the scenes peek when I was picking swatches for various shades of nude. A lot of time went into it, I wanted to make sure to capture the best variety of skintones possible. There should be more options in everything really, hosiery, makeup and bras/undergarments! Last year I was shocked and motivated to make a change. I just couldn’t believe the sea of one shade of nude! It means a lot for women to feel included. Options!
Annoyed by the lack of “nude” color options in 2016, I believe all women should have options and there is no 1-2 nude colors. It’s actually shocking if you think about it being 2016 and this is the color options!
Imagine no more bunching, scrunching, flipping! Bra Inserts. Re-invented. Many shades of nude! Not 1 or 2. True sizing fit on real women, sizes A-F cups!
When someone tells me this is nude : 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 I am honestly so tired of he rhetoric that dictates that "nude" is the same pale pink shade! The definition of NUDE depends on the color of your skin! Everyone's nude is different. So, if your skin is brown, your nudes will be shades of brown... Let's please please please break out of that boring, one dimensional view of nude makeup and see it for what it should be: makeup that mirrors and complements your complexion! #CocoaSwatches #RedefineNude
Now some of you may disagree that these are "nude lipsticks" but I honestly think we really need to take a hard look at what the definition of a nude lipstick really is. A nude lip color should depend on your complexion and the color of your lips. The same pale pinkish colors aren't going to work for everyone. It's SO annoying when companies label lipsticks with the word nude in it, assuming that it's a universal color. So I've compiled a list of nude lipsticks that work for those with medium to deep complexions and/or medium to dark lips. Let's #RedefineNude.
