Orvelle Redenbacher

Orvelle, the second of Orville and Sue Redenbacher, was a socialite in Lorderon. As the Redenbacher empire grew, so did her influence in society. As a close friend of Calia Menethil, she was invited to a celebration of Lord Prestor and her engagement. It was there that she met King Terenas Menethil and they immediately fell in love. He pulled her aside, and like children, they snuck away from the celebration. They spoke for hours and after a while, they began making passionate love. It is said that their lovemaking was so loud that it rivaled the band that was playing in the party. After the celebration, Orvelle became Second Consort to King Terenas. It was her policies and diplomacy that Gilneas, Quel'thelas, and Stromgarde stayed in alliance with King Terenas. Though she was part of his inner circle, Terenas did not always listen to her. When it came to politics and the safety of his people, Terenas acted on his own. Although he loved Orvelle, he thought that he knew what was best for his people.

The day that Arthas had arrived in Lordaeron, Orvelle and Terenas had been in bed together for hours. Many thought that Orvelle's moans of pleasures would never stop. They had even missed the festival to celebrate Arthas' return. But when Terenas heard that Arthas had arrived in the castle, they both put on their clothing and met him in the throne room. It was there that Orvelle watched in horror as Arthas grabbed Terenas by the neck, much like Terenas grabbed her moments before, and stabbed him through the heart with Frostmourne. With a scream that would rival a banshees, she lept to her lover's side.

"Redenbacher", he murmured as he gazed upon her with disgust. She looked at him in the eyes with a fury she had never felt before. Never in her life had she felt such a darkness to in her heart. But before she could do anything and before she could even register her feelings, Arthas slapped her with the back of his hand with such force that it broke her neck.

When she awoke to start her second life, all she could remember was the darkness that she had felt when Terenas was taken away from her. All her life she had never felt such emotion and anger. She had lost Terenas and she had lost herself.

As she made her way out of the grave she woke in, she felt a hand help her get up. When she looked up, she saw Terenas bathed in an afterglow. "Turn to the light, my love. It will save you." He kissed her on the head and before she could register what had happened, he was gone. It was from that point on, Orvelle dedicated her life to the light and to finding her siblings (who are in the same guild as her).

Orvel Redenbacher

First born of to Orville and Sue Redenbacher, Orvel was destined for a life of luxury and fame. He spent his first life as a warrior, defending the prestigious Redenbacher name. He trained to protect his siblings: Orvelle, Orwelle, Orbil, and Orbelle.  In his second life, he denounced the Redenbacher name and became a monk to seek enlightenment.

There's no particular reason for today being Popcorn Day except that some people have tried to tie it to the Super Bowl game.  I could care less.  I LOVE popcorn...ESPECIALLY during a good movie!  Which would make today a great excuse to go see a movie!
